
Amrita Learning tie-up
BSNL has also partnered with Amrita Learning to offer Internet-based assessment and learning programme for children.
Amrita Learning, developed in collaboration with Amrita University, is a research-based assessment, learning and practice programme that can be used from the comfort of the home or school computer.
It provides a targeted learning environment for children as young as three-and-a-half years up to standard 7.
Mr Raghu Raman, founder of Amrita Learning, said that the programme would enable both the challenged child and the above average child to work at their own levels at their own speed.
The content addresses core subjects like English and Maths and contains over 2,500 lessons with over 100,000 exercises.
The entire content is aligned with the CBSE syllabus.

As part of the BSNL's drive to provide quality service to its Broadband customers, the organisation launched an e-learning initiative in collaboration with Amrita Learning.
The 'Adaptive Assessment and Learning Programme' would enable children to learn at their own level and at their own speed, Mr Raghu Raman, CEO, Amrita Learning, said.
The service, costing Rs 999 for an year, would offer more than 2,500 lessons, with over 100,000 exercises, covering Maths and English syllabus of the CBSE for classes KG to VIIIth. Amrita Learning was in the process of formulating similar lessons for Science and was hopeful of including these by early next year, he said.
